Dr Charlotte Harkness is a UKCP registered existential psychotherapist, supervisor and coach with more than 20 years experience in counselling and psychotherapy.
Charlotte provides a non-judgemental, safe environment to explore your worries and concerns, however complex or overwhelming they may seem. Charlotte will help you reflect on how you are living and work towards making any changes you may want.
Charlotte has a particular interest in working with people with grief and bereavement, eating and body image issues, relationship complexities and supporting people in the creative arts.
She also provides consulting and advisory services to organisations in support of emotional and mental wellbeing. Charlotte has a passion for long-distance walking and running and a strong interest in the mental and emotional side of endurance sport and in the benefits of being outdoors in nature.
Charlotte completed a doctorate in existential psychotherapy at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling, and a philosophical approach underpins her take on life. Charlotte regularly lectures on the doctoral programmes at NSPC as well as providing clinical supervision.
