SUMMARY:Tuesday Reflective Supervision Group with Bárbara Godoy 2026
DESCRIPTION:All therapists have an original project\, an intention\, a gut feeling\, the reason why they decided to practice. Through training many things are learnt but often this profound and personal purpose can be clouded. This weekly group provides a safe space that promotes a non-judgmental approach. We aim to create a kind of intimacy where practitioners can see themselves clearly whilst getting the support to be who they are. Once the practitioner’s own individual style is discovered a process to master what will become their own personal approach begins. The group is the supervisor\, a gentle but firm mirror to observe our work with perspective and generate understanding of the client’s process by taking into account ourselves as co-creators of the therapeutic encounter. A creative and uplifting weekly group that aims to strengthen the therapists’ own existential awareness. \nBárbara Godoy M.A.\, Adv. Dip. Exi. Psy. Existential Psychotherapist Group Leader\, Counsellour\, Lecturer and Supervisor\, UKCP accredited\, SEA Professional Member\, Director of Therapy Harley Street. Bárbara’s academic contributions in London since 2008 include lecturing and researching on the theory and practice of Phenomenological Existential Therapy on Doctorate\, MA and professional courses at the School of Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology\, Regent’s University and the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling directed by Emmy van Deurzen. Bárbara has facilitated and designed therapeutic Group Work since 1997. She brought her earliest workshop: “Experiences” to large groups in The Netherlands\, Italy\, France\, UK and Argentina.
