Alexandra puts her clients at the heart of the therapeutic process. She is non-judgemental, caring and compassionate. She works with her clients to find solutions that are right for them, helping them to make the changes they want to make, working in a client-centred way.
Solution-focused hypnotherapy is a talking therapy which mixes psychotherapy and hypnosis to help clients make progress towards their goals. It is forward-looking.
Alexandra works with clients on reducing anxiety, stress and self-limiting beliefs. She is experienced in working with depression, fears and phobias, problem solving, PTSD, sleep issues, work-related stress, performance at work, exam stress and building confidence, as well as other issues related to wellbeing and happiness. Alexandra utilises different techniques from Solution Focused Brief Therapy, NLP and CBT to help clients find solutions that are right for them. The key theories behind her techniques and approaches are based on neuroscience.
Alexandra is an NCH-registered Clinical Hypnotherapist, a member of the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. She holds the Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma (HPD) and Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH).
Length of therapy: Most clients need 8-12 sessions. Tackling specific fears and phobias or smoking cessation may need fewer.
