Project Description
Mr Andrea Pavarini, PGDip in Professional Development Psychosynthesis Counselling, BACP registered (English / Italian / French).
A calm, confidential space for professionals, creatives and LGBTQ+ clients.
Hello, I’m Andrea. If your life looks successful on the outside, yet inside you feel anxious, low, or burnt out, you are not alone. Many people I work with carry the quiet pressure of people-pleasing, self-doubt, or shame, especially around family, relationships, sexuality, or identity. Perhaps you are coming out, or you fear disappointing those you love. You may be tired of performing, and longing for steadier self-respect, clearer boundaries, and a life that feels more spacious and true.
I offer discreet, open, non-judgemental therapy around sexuality, intimacy and desire for individuals and couples in Harley Street and online. This is a warm, confidential space where nothing needs to be hidden or managed. Whatever you bring, uncertainty, desire, secrets, fear, humour, hope, we will meet it with care and without judgement. You set the pace, and we move gently, with clear boundaries and steady attention.
My approach is psychosynthesis-based and integrative. In practice, that means we slow down and make sense of what is happening now, while also exploring how your patterns were shaped over time. We may work with the inner critic, the pleaser, the caretaker, or other parts of you that developed for good reasons, but may no longer serve you. The intention is to help you feel more grounded in yourself, soften shame, and increase your capacity to choose, rather than repeat old dynamics automatically.
Sessions are unhurried and practical. Alongside conversation, I may use body awareness, parts work, guided imagery, chair work, and simple drawings or visual mapping, especially when words are not enough. Together we clarify your needs, boundaries, and desires, so you can relate to yourself and others with more ease, clarity, and self-trust.
If any of this resonates, you do not have to carry it alone. You are welcome exactly as you are. When you feel ready, we can begin.
My Background
I grew up in northern Italy, and spent much of my youth trying to understand who I was, and how to live a life that felt true. I was drawn to literature, philosophy, and spiritual exploration, and I am comfortable sitting with the bigger questions of meaning and what it is to be human in this world.
Before I trained as a counsellor, I worked in luxury interior design, where discretion, detail and calm really matter. That experience shaped the way I hold space: attentive to nuance, steady under pressure, and respectful of complexity. You bring your story, and I will meet you there with care, presence, and a commitment to helping you find your way forward.
Special Interests
Clinical Focus and Specialisms
• Sexuality & relationships; LGBTQ+ issues; kink-aware, sex-positive work
• Couples therapy: communication repair, desire discrepancy, conflict patterns
• Psychosexual concerns: performance anxiety, porn/chemsex patterns
• Trauma, shame and identity; family-of-origin dynamics
• Life transitions: relocation, career change, burnout, creative blocks
• Spiritual longing and meaning-making without dogma
My approach in session
A typical 50-minute session begins with a brief settling, followed by spacious, non-directive exploration; targeted interventions—imagery, parts dialogue, visual mapping—and a gentle, practical close. Between sessions, the pace is yours; we’ll tailor any support to what feels right for you. If you feel anxious, we slow down. If you feel flooded, we ground. We stay with what matters—kindly.
Who I work with
