INTERNATIONAL CERTIFIED TRAINING in EXISTENTIAL PRACTICE for PROFESSIONALS

with Bárbara Godoy, Prof Ernesto Spinelli and International Guest Speakers

“This training was born as an answer to the following question: “What is the most conducive environment to train Existential Therapists?” Its programme aims to offer a bridge over the gap between the existential-phenomenological emphasis on the importance of experience and the courses on offer. Our mission is to engage in open dialogue with authorities in the field to reflect on questions like: “What level of “Existential Fitness” might be required to practice this radical art?” Bárbara Godoy

PROGRAMME

The four modules below count as credits towards the ICTEPP
or can also be taken independently for CPD hours

THS is a vibrant and diverse group of like-minded individuals devoted to the practice of authentic human care. We are a clinic where tradition meets innovation located in the heart of London’s medical district.

Our Mission is to support the therapeutic endeavour in the community, not just in terms of its practice but also to generate an environment for continuing professional development and research in a way that facilitates self-inquiry and creativity. Ultimately, we aim to support individuals to come together and share insights regarding the meaning of being human and through this promote a deeper understanding of “how to live well”.

About THS and our CPD Programme

Our Continuing Professional Development Programme designed by Bábara Godoy, founder-director of Therapy Harley Street, has been running since 2017 in collaboration with Prof Ernesto Spinelli and a number of outstanding international contributors to the field.

Entry requirements and Fees

This programme would be most relevant to professional therapists who want to deepen their understanding of practising existentially. However, it would be of important value to a number of other professionals, particularly in the area of mental health, leadership, education, social and ecological matters, spirituality and the arts. It is aimed at people who are seeking the experience of being and have the courage to ask questions that deconstruct everyday assumptions. The methodology is designed to prompt insight through group synergy. The teaching style avoids hierarchical notions and on the contrary, aims to emphasise the respect for subjective world-views and mobilise trust in our shared experience. Apply here >
