Project Description
Kathleen Driscoll — Existential Psychotherapist – PGDIP, BACP Accred.
We all wear many masks — as workers, parents, partners, friends — navigating a world filled with expectations, pressures, and obligations. My work invites you to gently explore the self behind these roles. What shapes your sense of meaning and purpose? What personal story have you been living until this moment— and is it still serving you?
I see therapy as a space for reflection, reconnection, and transformation. Together, we can examine your perception of self and your relationships with others, exploring the beliefs, patterns, and “shadow” aspects that may be keeping you stuck in cycles of overthinking, anxiety, or depression.
Therapy is not about fixing you — it’s about getting in touch with your embodied self in a world that often pulls us away from it. It’s about cultivating new responses to life’s inevitable challenges, finding vitality, and exercising our emotional, mental, and spiritual muscles. We may explore difficult life experiences, traumas, or life-changing circumstances — not to erase the pain, but to reflect, understand, and integrate what they reveal.
If there is a goal to this work, it is to support you in experiencing more inner freedom, healing, and joy — and in making choices that reflect your personal philosophy, ethics, and values. Through a collaborative and relational process, we may uncover what truly matters to you, so that you can live more aligned with your authentic self.
Therapy, for me, is both a place of challenge and reconciliation — a sacred act of gaining more self-knowledge in order to enhance our life’s great adventure. I draw my own inspiration from the wisdom of philosophers, writers and artists, but always root the work in your lived experience, your unique story, and your unfolding journey.
She has twenty years of experience in the film/streaming/PR industry, she is familiar with the unique work pressures faced by those in film, TV, entertainment & PR industries.
