Project Description
Samantha Love (BSc Psy Hons, Dip C, NCPS accred, BACP reg) is a licensed therapist who practices an integrative approach to therapy, drawing on multiple therapeutic frameworks such as humanistic and psychodynamic models. She utilises creative methods to help individuals work through their struggles, incorporating art, meditation, spiritual practices, inner child work, and safe memory recovery techniques for trauma and PTSD.
Samantha Love is a dedicated counsellor with a strong passion for her work, she helps clients navigate challenges such as trauma, PTSD, anxiety, relationship difficulties, addictions, bereavement, and neurodiversity-related concerns. Her background in care and healing informs her compassionate and integrative approach, ensuring that each client feels truly heard, understood, and supported.
Samantha has developed a unique technique for trauma memory recovery, enabling clients to reconnect with past experiences in a reframed and healing way. This process facilitates the unlocking, processing, and alleviation of symptoms related to PTSD and past trauma, fostering deeper emotional resilience. In addition to her individual work, she is preparing to run workshops for therapists, sharing and demonstrating her approach to broaden its impact.
Her practice follows an integrative approach, blending psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, and person-centred therapy, all tailored to meet the specific needs of each client. She also incorporates creative therapy, utilizing expressive methods to help individuals feel more comfortable exploring their emotions and personal experiences.
With experience in prison and secondary education settings, Samantha is an autism-informed therapist, ensuring that neurodivergent clients receive tailored and accessible therapeutic care.
Longer Therapy Sessions for Deeper Healing
Recognising that the standard 50-minute therapy model may sometimes feel restrictive, Samantha offers longer therapy sessions when appropriate. Research suggests that extended sessions allow for more space to explore and process emotions, enabling clients to work through their experiences in greater depth without feeling rushed or measured.
A Safe & Supportive Space
Above all, Samantha is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental environment, where clients are met with empathy, respect, and understanding. Whether working through trauma, anxiety, or self-esteem concerns, she ensures that each individual feels validated, heard, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.
For those ready to take the next step toward healing and growth, Samantha provides compassionate guidance, helping clients move forward with clarity, resilience, and peace of mind.
