Therapeutic Approach:
She provides CBT ( cognitive behavioural therapy) which is a therapeutic approach that focusses on the relationship between thoughts, feelings and actions, and focusses on changing negative thoughts to positive thoughts and positive core beliefs.
She also provides REBT ( Rational emotive behavioural therapy) a form of CBT that does the same thing claimed by CBT but with a primary focus of changing irrational thoughts into more rational/ neutral thoughts.
Both are very effective ways of encouraging better control of one’s thought life while helping client’s to manage their own emotions and reactions to negative life events and self-perception.
In regards to trauma, she provides RTT ( rewind trauma therapy) which is an innovative approach to reducing symptoms of PTSD and trauma and can further alleviate anxiety and depression symptoms. This is a brief form of therapy where clients have little to no disclosure of their traumatic event/s, the process takes a minimum of two sessions to see a positive difference in the involuntary recall of traumatic events in one’s life and minimizes the risk of clients being re-traumatised.
