Project Description
Dr Ute Liersch, BSc, MA, DPsych, CPsychol, FHEA HCPC Accredited Practitioner and Associate Lecturer Chartered Psychologist and Psychotherapist.
Hi, I’m Dr. Ute, and if you’re here, you’re probably looking for more than just a quick fix. You want real, lasting change – and that’s exactly what I help people achieve. I specialise in working with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, abuse, ADHD, or those who simply feel like they don’t fit the mold.
Being neurodiverse myself, I know firsthand how it feels when the world doesn’t seem built for you, and I approach therapy with that understanding at the core.
What I Offer:
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, trauma, or the long-lasting effects of abuse, I’m not about surface-level coping strategies. Together, we’ll dive deep to get to the root of what’s holding you back, and work on freeing you from it. I don’t offer cookie-cutter solutions.
If you’re battling daily stress, anxiety, trauma, or managing ADHD in a world that doesn’t “get it,” I’m here to help you navigate and thrive.
For my clients with ADHD or neurodiversity, it’s not just about “managing symptoms.” It’s about embracing who you are and finding practical, real-life strategies that fit into your world. As someone who also experiences ADHD, I understand the daily struggles and will guide you with strategies that truly resonate.
How I Work:
I bring a wide range of treatment methods to the table because I know there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to healing.
My training and methods include:
- EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing): Highly effective for those dealing with trauma or PTSD, it allows you to reprocess memories and get real relief from the pain they cause.
- ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy): Here, we’ll focus on what matters most to you, helping you accept what you can’t control and take action on what you can.
- Existential Philosophy: We’ll explore those deep questions about meaning, purpose, and self-awareness that many therapists shy away from. – Mindfulness: If you’re constantly overwhelmed by stress or anxiety, mindfulness practices will help you slow down, stay present, and regain control.
Professional Expertise:
Beyond working with clients, I have undergone immense training across a wide spectrum of treatment methods.
I’m not just a therapist but a sought-after speaker and lecturer in psychological treatment and therapy.
I coach other professionals and regularly share my expertise on the latest, most effective therapeutic techniques. This means you’re not just getting a therapist – you’re getting someone at the forefront of the field.
Why Work with Me?
I’m direct, hands-on, and I get results. My clients appreciate that I don’t just listen – I partner with them to create meaningful change. Whether you’re struggling with constant anxiety, trauma, or trying to find balance with ADHD, I’m here to help you take back control.
As a therapist, speaker, and expert in my field, I bring both depth and practicality to my sessions, ensuring you get the support you need to truly transform your life.
If you’re ready for real change, let’s work together. Reach out when you’re ready – I’m here to guide you through the process.
